Most of us are doing okay in many aspects of life, more or less. We may not be constantly killing it, but we’re doing alright, for fallible, insecure humans. The problem is, we don’t see it, or at least not fully. We set standards or goals for ourselves, and when we fall even the slightest bit short, we beat ourselves up, or allow others to rough us up a bit, and we fail to see what was actually accomplished, which is often significant.
